Derval is available as a mindfulness and well-being speaker, teacher, HeartMath Coach and group facilitator for children, teens and adults.
Derval works with a variety of organisations including the HSE, the INTO, Mayo Education Centre, third level colleges and businesses. This work includes courses, workshops, and presentations at a variety of related conferences.

Qualified as an MBSR teacher (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), Yoga Nidra teacher, and a HeartMath coach, Derval’s common sense approach, light-hearted manner, and personal experience of recovery from PTSD and chronic fatigue means that she connects easily with her audience, and puts them at ease.
Derval is co-founder of Mindfulness Matters Ltd, in this role she has trained thousands of Irish primary school teachers and children in mindfulness, relaxation, and well-being.

Mick is passionate nature and wildlife. He is a qualified Marine and Countryside Guide (GMIT), and Climate Control Ambassador in Mayo. He has a special interest in birdlife, and has been working as a volunteer in this area since 2004. He has facilitated walks and talks for The Museum of Country Life, Bird Watch Mayo, Mayo Education Centre and schools. Mick offers one on one and group guided birding/nature outings for visitors to the West.
With his irrepressible enthusiasm for the wonder of nature, affable manner, and many years of ‘hands on’ experience Mick’s walks and talks are a beautiful blend of fun and learning.
Mick loves connecting, or re-connecting people with nature. His gift is drawing people out of the virtual world and into the present through his mindfulness-based approach.
