Presently (2023) Derval is working in a creative capacity on an RTE children's TV series

Derval was one of four artists commissioned to work on a collaboration between Irish Hospice Foundation, HSE and Creative Ireland. The project will be launched in Sept 2023 aiming to support the wellbeing of 220,000 healthcare staff in Ireland in a creative way.

This work includes courses, workshops, zoom sessions and presentations at a variety of related national conferences.
Derval's art projects have been funded by Creative Ireland.

Mick is a qualified Marine and Countryside Guide (GMIT), Climate Control Ambassador in Mayo, he specializes in bird survey work.
Mick has facilitated walks and talks for The Museum of Country Life, Bird Watch Mayo, Mayo Education Centre and schools. Mick loves connecting, or re-connecting people with nature.
